Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Stauff RS370K10E removes the guess work when it comes to maintaining clean hydraulic fluid. With Microglass there are no guesses, only absolutes, and that is why 75% of our hydraulic filters are manufactured with Microglass media. The reassurance and convenience of being able to capture and retain 400 times the amount of particulate offered by traditional paper filters is one of the main reasons why the majority of our hydraulic filters are Microglass. We also know that you and your organization will appreciate the increase in lifespan, durability and reduction in costs associated with unscheduled downtime that Microglass filters offer.

Filter Seal

Ethylene propylene O-rings, commonly called EPR or EPDM, offer outstanding resistance to polar solvents such as acetone, alcohols, and MEK. EPR is incompatible with petroleum oils and greases.

EPR O-rings are recommended for:

Skydrol
Hot water and steam
Glycol based brake fluid
Many organic and inorganic acids
Polar solvents
