Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Fleetguard HF8273 is an inorganic fiber that offers significant filtration efficiency over traditional types of media, and is commonly known as Microglass. The increase in efficiency is what allows us to classify the micron rating of this hydraulic filter as absolute, rather than nominal. This is also how you will achieve your desired ISO targets and maintain clean hydraulic fluids.

Filter Seal

Are you looking for a filter with a seal that can endure sudden changes in pressure and temperature, or maybe you just want a filter seal that will last. Knowing that Viton O-rings can take the heat, resistance of up to 400°F/200°C and withstand exposure to some of the most aggressive fluids, will put your mind at ease. Viton O-rings are almost always the best choice for every industrial application.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
