Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Argo S3.0817-02 is great if you care about achieving ISO targets, or if you just want to maintain cleaner hydraulic fluids. With its uniform characteristics and improved density, Microglass will allow you to capture and retain up to 400 times the amount of particulate offered by traditional paper filter elements. We also offer Microglass filters with water removal capabilities.

Filter Seal

Generally speaking, when compared to other seals, silincone O-rings lack superior tensile strength and are prone to tear and abrasion. However, silicone O-rings are known for their ability to withstand extreme temperatures while maintaining their properties. If your application demands that the filter’s O-ring posses superior strength, we recommend considering a different O-ring for your hydraulic filter.

Dry Heat
High-aniline point oils
Chlorinated di-phenlys
