Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Fleetguard HF7705 is the type of filter media you need if you are concerned about damage to your machinery that contaminated hydraulic fluids can cause. Even if you aren’t concerned, at Hydrafil we are, and that is why we manufacture over 75% of our hydraulic filters with Microglass. The density and uniform shape of the inorganic fibers found in Microglass offer tremendous filtration efficiency over traditional cellulose filters. In fact, with microglass you will be able filter up to 400 times more particulate than with paper filter elements.

Filter Seal

Are you looking for a filter with a seal that can endure sudden changes in pressure and temperature, or maybe you just want a filter seal that will last. Knowing that Viton O-rings can take the heat, resistance of up to 400°F/200°C and withstand exposure to some of the most aggressive fluids, will put your mind at ease. Viton O-rings are almost always the best choice for every industrial application.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
