Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Internormen 311833 and the fibers of the filter element are uniform in shape and smaller than the fibers found in paper elements. The result is a filter element that has more fibers per square millimeter and reduces the amount of particulate capable of passing through the filter by 99.9%. Additionally, the structure of a Microglass filter prevents the media from degrading in a way found in paper elements. When you chose a Microglass filter, you are making a very good business decision for your organization.

Filter Seal

Viton is the most dependable type of seal that is currently used on hydraulic filters. The characteristics that make Viton such an excellent choice are its resistance to extreme temperatures, its low compression set and its compatibility with a very broad range of fluids. In fact, Viton o-rings will maintain their sealing force even after long periods of compression and exposure to severe environments, and this is what will help you reduce costs through fewer periods of unscheduled downtime.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
