Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Stauff RS370B40V is Stainless Steel Wire Mesh and offers excellent resistance to temperature and corrosive fluids. This type of media is used extensively throughout the chemical, food and beverage, mining, and pharmaceutical industries. With its square aperture, high-flow through rate and relative open area, Stainless Steel Wire Mesh filters experience relatively low pressure drops during filtration.

In fact, Viton o-rings will maintain their sealing force even after long periods of compression and exposure to severe environments, and this is what will help you reduce costs through fewer periods of unscheduled downtime.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
